Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pierce). They came out on top against the O'Neill Eagles by a score of 55-47 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-30 back in December of 2024.

O'Neill's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashley Sidak, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Mariah Kallhoff, who had seven points and five boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Pierce and bumps their season record up to 14-6. As for O'Neill, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Pierce will be playing at home against Clarkson/Leigh at 5:30 p.m. on February 11th. As for O'Neill, they are taking a road trip to square off against Boone Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. O'Neill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.4 points per game this season.
