Softball Recap: Plano Comes Up Short

Plano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 10-6 to the Woodstock Blue Streaks. The Reapers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Streaks earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Lindsey Cocks was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Plano's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15-1. As for Woodstock, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-16.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plano is set to face off against their familiar foe Johnsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodstock will square off against rival Sandwich at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
