Basketball Recap: Columbia Heights Comes Up Short

Columbia Heights was the 87-83 winner over Robbinsdale Cooper when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Columbia Heights Hylanders took a blow against the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks on Friday, falling 94-54. The Hylanders just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Columbia Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Columbia Heights will head out on the road to square off against Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Richfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks challenge the Kennedy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
