Baseball Recap: Saxony Lutheran Takes a Loss

Saxony Lutheran lost against Meadow Heights back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Saxony Lutheran fell just short of Meadow Heights by a score of 7-6. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brayden Moore made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Sparks, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Saxony Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Meadow Heights, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saxony Lutheran will challenge Crystal City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Meadow Heights, they will square off against Chaffee at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
