Paulding entered their tilt with Ottoville on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Big Green. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Paulding had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-13, 15-13.

Paulding got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tori Schlatter out in front who had 19 digs and five aces. That's the most aces Schlatter has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Libby Breier, who had ten digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Paulding was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matches.

Paulding's record is now 15-4. As for Ottoville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Paulding has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Continental on the 6th. As for Ottoville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Crestview on the 7th.
