Basketball Game Preview: Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels vs. Nederland Panthers

The Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels will challenge the Nederland Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Golden View Classical Academy has six straight wins, Nederland has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Aurora West College Prep Academy 61-10. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season.

Golden View Classical Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Clark out in front who went 7 of 8 en route to 15 points. The dominant performance gave Clark a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ainsley Chidester, who posted nine points along with seven rebounds and six steals.

Meanwhile, Nederland played a tough contest back in December of 2024 in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado 50-12. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-1.

Golden View Classical Academy pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.7 points per game. As for Nederland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
