Softball Recap: Brindlee Mountain Comes Up Short

Brindlee Mountain fell victim to Madison Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 17-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Brindlee Mountain has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Madison Academy, they pushed their record up to 26-5 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Brindlee Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-1 win against Elkmont on the 28th.
