Volleyball Recap: East Bay Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Durant Cougars, falling 3-0. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-15.

Kaylee Hartung paced East Bay's offense, picking up five kills. Hartung got some help from Allison Elwell and her eight assists. Finally, Leilani Oggero kept East Bay's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

East Bay's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Durant, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

East Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Armwood on the 6th. As for Durant, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Morgan on the 6th.
