Basketball Recap: New Salem Starts off Right with Win over Grant County Co-Op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent]

New Salem had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] 70-56. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Holsteins also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent]'s loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

New Salem will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Hebron-Glen Ullin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent], they will head out to face off against Lemmon at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
