Football Recap: Edwardsburg Takes a Loss

If Edwardsburg was riding high fresh off their 42-13 takedown of Sturgis last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eddies had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Paw Paw Red Wolves. The loss was the Eddies' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Edwardsburg fell to 3-1. As for Paw Paw, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Edwardsburg and Paw Paw should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Eddies will take on Otsego at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th with a big rank advantage (82 vs. 326). Meanwhile, Paw Paw (ranked 136th) will meet Plainwell (ranked 360th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
