Basketball Game Preview: Steamboat Springs Sailors vs. Aspen Skiers

The Steamboat Springs Sailors will head out on the road to face off against the Aspen Skiers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Steamboat Springs has struggled recently with seven losses in a row, while Aspen will arrive with three straight wins.

On Tuesday, Steamboat Springs came up short against Glenwood Springs and fell 42-33.

Meanwhile, Aspen beat Coal Ridge 53-41 on Tuesday.

Aspen's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Steamboat Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
