Basketball Game Preview: Grayson County Cougars vs. Trinity Raiders

The Grayson County Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Trinity Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Grayson County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Grayson County will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Owensboro Catholic, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cougars breezed past the Aces to the tune of 93-58 on Monday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Trinity earned a 77-64 victory over Foundation Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Trinity now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Grayson County, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Everything came up roses for Grayson County against Trinity in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, as the squad secured a 78-32 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
