Gladewater put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They won by a goal and slipped past the Tatum Eagles 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Bears were the better team in the second half.

Gladewater's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Tatum, they now have a losing record at 1-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gladewater will take on Carlisle at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carlisle's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tatum, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Carthage at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st.
