Volleyball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carrollton Cavaliers. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Carrollton, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Carrollton will square off against Pinconning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meridian will be paying especially close attention to the Cavaliers' contest: after the Cavaliers face off against the Spartans, they'll take on Meridian again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
