Basketball Game Preview: Alexander vs. Kenmare/Bowbells

Alexander will challenge Kenmare/Bowbells at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, Alexander got the win against Mandaree by a conclusive 57-32.

Meanwhile, Kenmare/Bowbells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 98-64 loss at the hands of Velva. While losing is never fun, Kenmare/Bowbells can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Velva is ranked 20th).

Kenmare/Bowbells' defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Alexander, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Alexander strolled past Kenmare/Bowbells in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 67-51. Will Alexander repeat their success, or does Kenmare/Bowbells have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
