Galena waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Non Varsity Opponent.

Mel Rice paced Galena's offense, picking up eight kills. Rice got some help from Ava Watson and her seven assists. Watson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Galena's victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1.

Galena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Everton on the 20th. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Tri on the 20th.
