Cordova waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 1-0 win two weeks ago.

Victoria Nothstine paced Cordova's offense, picking up four kills. Nothstine got some help from Willow Tiedeman and her three assists. Keyshia Ganuelas controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cordova's victory bumped their record up to 16-5.

Cordova has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against King Cove on the 10th. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Eagle Rock on the 11th.
