Volleyball Recap: Sage Creek Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rancho Buena Vista last Thursday, Sage Creek came back down to earth. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Del Norte Nighthawks on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-11.

Sage Creek's loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Del Norte, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sage Creek will challenge San Pasqual at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Del Norte, they will face off against Mission Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mission Vista will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Del Norte surely won't give up without a fight.
