Basketball Recap: Lexington Christian Takes a Loss

Lexington Christian lost against Lexington Catholic back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lexington Christian Eagles fell 49-40 to the Lexington Catholic Knights. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Knights are ranked 36th).

Lexington Christian now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Lexington Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Lexington Christian has already played their next contest (against Cooper), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lexington Catholic, they will challenge Danville Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
