Amityville Memorial's win ends four-game losing streak at home

The Amityville Memorial Warriors can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 68-57 win over Miller Place. The win was just what Amityville Memorial needed coming off of a 51-26 loss in their prior match.

Despite the loss, Miller Place still got an impressive performance from Ava Zicchinelli, who scored 20 points. Brooke Callaghan was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Amityville Memorial's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Miller Place, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kings Park the next time they take the court. Miller Place will host Kings Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Amityville Memorial will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on February 1st.
