A Season-Best Effort from Sands Dougherty Leads Morro Bay over Atascadero
Morro Bay was led to victory by Sands Dougherty, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dougherty rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 339 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now passed for 312 or more in the last six games he's played.

On Friday, Morro Bay got the W thanks in part to John Myers playing the best football he has all season. Myers picked up 225 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.
Unfortunately for Atascadero, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Myers. When Myers last faced the Greyhounds back in October of 2023, he picked up 128 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Tyler Cunningham Dazzles in Templeton Defeat
Templeton was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Tyler Cunningham did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Cunningham as he picked up 120 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Cunningham and Templeton will face off against Cabrillo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cunningham will face off against Andre Brisco, the Conquistadores' star RB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Blake Gregory Goes Supernova in Cabrillo Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Blake Gregory stepped things up a notch to give Cabrillo the 'W'. Gregory turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 152 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes, while also rushing for 55 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Gregory and Cabrillo will take on Templeton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Gregory took on the Eagles, he picked up 127 receiving yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Andre Brisco Makes It Two for Cabrillo
Another Cabrillo player making an appearance on this list is Andre Brisco. He rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 64 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
For the season, Brisco has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 117.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 18.22 rushing yards per game.
