Volleyball Recap: Syracuse's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

It was a good run, but Syracuse unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Davis Darts, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Titans haven't been shut out since back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-14.

Gabe Meredith paced Syracuse's offense, picking up nine kills. Meredith got some help from Talon Morris and his 19 assists.

Syracuse's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Davis, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Coming up, Syracuse will head out to take on Layton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Davis, they will take on Bingham in a tournament on Friday.
