Basketball Recap: Briarwood Christian Takes a Loss

Briarwood Christian lost against Mountain Brook back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Briarwood Christian Lions came up short against the Mountain Brook Spartans, falling 60-40. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Spartans are ranked sixth).

Briarwood Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-10 record this season. As for Mountain Brook, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-4.

Briarwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain Brook, they will welcome Pell City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
