Volleyball Recap: Jersey Village Comes Up Short

If Jersey Village was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Northbrook on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons came up short against the Cy-Fair Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered against the Bobcats since September 13, 2022.

While Jersey Village ultimately came up short, they really made Cy-Fair work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 27-25, 25-23.

Brandi Johnson paced Jersey Village's offense, picking up 11 kills. Johnson got some help from Aubrey Peters and her 34 assists. Finally, Johnson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Mia Romero went supernova For Cy-Fair., getting ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Romero has posted since back in September.
