St. John proved they can win big on Sunday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Paul VI Panthers 4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Cadets sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row.

St. John's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Paul VI, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-6.

St. John's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paul VI, they will host Woodgrove at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
