Basketball Recap: Mount Morris Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Mount Morris Blue Devils came up short against the Le Roy Oatkan Knights and fell 55-46. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 667th, while the Oatkan Knights are ranked 320th).

Mount Morris has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Le Roy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Coming up, Mount Morris will head out on the road to face off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Le Roy, they will host Geneseo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
