Softball Recap: Sanger Has No Trouble Against Torres

While Sanger put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Torres. Everything went the Sanger Apaches' way against the Torres Toros as the Sanger Apaches made off with a 7-0 win. The Apaches have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Toros, too.

The team relied heavily on Aundrea Orosco, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 4-for-4. Audrey Ortiz was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

The victory made it two in a row for Sanger and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.5 runs. As for Torres, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Sanger wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Lemoore on the 7th. As for Torres, they will be playing at home against Sierra at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
