After flying high against the Milwaukee Bradley Tech Trojans last Friday, the Indian Trail Hawks came back down to earth. Indian Trail lost to Franklin on the road by a decisive 76-58 margin on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Franklin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rachael Jepsen out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jepsen has scored all season. Natalie Meaux was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Indian Trail dropped their record down to 14-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Franklin, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-8.
