The Carbondale Terriers are taking a road trip to challenge the Herrin Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carbondale will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Carbondale turned things around against Granite City on Friday. They blew past the Warriors, posting a 49-13 victory. The Terriers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 11, 2024 (when they won 53-8).

Davin Wooley had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 196 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, he racked up 137.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Synsear Scott-Ross was another key player, picking up 86 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Herrin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Carbondale, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Carbondale might still be hurting after the 34-13 loss they got from Herrin in their previous matchup back in September of 2015.
