Volleyball Game Preview: Arizona College Prep Knights vs. Mountain Pointe Pride

The Arizona College Prep Knights will take on the Mountain Pointe Pride at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Arizona College Prep has seven straight wins, Mountain Pointe has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Arizona College Prep had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Verrado on Wednesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vipers.

Arizona College Prep walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Mountain Pointe lost 3-0 to Willow Canyon on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-20, 25-17.

Mountain Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Arizona College Prep, they pushed their record up to 21-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Everything went Arizona College Prep's way against Mountain Pointe in their previous matchup back in April, as Arizona College Prep made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Pride have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
