Basketball Recap: Christ School Takes Down Forsyth Country Day in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Christ School had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Forsyth Country Day Furies by a score of 75-65 on Tuesday. The Greenies haven't had any issues with the Furies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for Zymicah Wilkins, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 19 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Dacen Petty, who went 7-for-14 on his way to 20 points and three steals.

Christ School's win was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.3 points. As for Forsyth Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 27-6.

Coming up, Christ School will challenge Carmel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Christ School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 27 games -- so hopefully Carmel Christian likes a good challenge.
