Volleyball Recap: Hampton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Hampton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Broadwater Academy Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 5th.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-15.

Broadwater Academy found their leader in freshman Caroline Caison, who had 17 digs and nine aces. With that strong performance, Caison is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game.

Hampton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Broadwater Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Hampton Christian Academy will head out to take on StoneBridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Broadwater Academy, they will square off against Gateway Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
