Soccer Game Preview: Our Lady of the Rosary vs. GREEN Upstate

The Our Lady of the Rosary Lions will face off against the GREEN Upstate Owls at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Our Lady of the Rosary is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Our Lady of the Rosary's offense. They came up short against Spartanburg Day last Thursday, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, GREEN Upstate kept a clean sheet against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest on Thursday. They blew past the Crusaders 3-0. GREEN Upstate might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Julian Medina was the driving force of GREEN Upstate's attack as he scored all three of GREEN Upstate's goals, bringing his season total up to 18 goals.

GREEN Upstate pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Our Lady of the Rosary, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
