Temescal Canyon entered their tilt with Quartz Hill on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Royals 12-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 on Saturday.

Temescal Canyon got a great performance from STEPHANIE BARAJAS as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, BREA TILLERY was a standout: she scored a run while going 2-for-4. REAGAN PICKENS was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Temescal Canyon's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Quartz Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Coming up, Temescal Canyon will square off against West Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.33 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Quartz Hill, they will host Highland at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Royals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
