While Schuylkill Valley put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Tulpehocken. The Panthers put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 15-0 victory. Considering the Panthers have won four games by more than 14 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Kayla Konetsky made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Konetsky was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Kylie Gunter was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Brooke Angstadt also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Schuylkill Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .679. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
