Basketball Recap: Lakewood Falls to Pinelands Regional in First Game of Season

Lakewood unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 22-15 to the Pinelands Regional Wildcats on Tuesday. The Piners' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row dating back to last season.

The victory got Pinelands Regional back to even at 1-1.

Lakewood will head out to take on Toms River South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pinelands Regional, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Pinelands Regional Wildcats take on the Liberty Lions at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
