Basketball Game Preview: Twinsburg Tigers vs. Solon Comets

Twinsburg is 1-9 against Solon since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Twinsburg Tigers will head out to face off against the Solon Comets at 7:30 p.m. Twinsburg will be strutting in after a victory while Solon will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Twinsburg beat Nordonia 54-44. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Solon lost to North Royalton on the road by a 63-47 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Bears are ranked 64th).

Twinsburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Solon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Twinsburg came up short against Solon when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 61-57. Can Twinsburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
