Miller skates past Greenfield with ease

Recap: Miller Cardinals vs. Greenfield Wildcats

The Miller Cardinals won the last time they faced the Greenfield Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Miller blew past Greenfield 72-14 on the road. With Miller ahead 35-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miller to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashlynn Helton, who almost dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 9 assists, and 10 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Helton has scored at least 25% of Miller's points. Another player making a difference was Rachel Nunez, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 steals.

The win makes it two in a row for Miller and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Greenfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Miller will be playing at home against Fair Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
