Football Game Preview: Oroville Tigers vs. Orland Trojans + How To Watch

Oroville is 0-10 against Orland since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will face off against the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Oroville has given up an average of 38.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Oroville's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Gridley on Thursday. They were dealt a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 992nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 393rd).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Orland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Las Plumas 35-12 on Friday. Considering the Trojans have won three games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Orland's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Oroville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Oroville was dealt a bruising 62-6 loss at the hands of Orland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 42-0.
