Basketball Recap: West Platte Victorious

West Platte won the last time they faced Mound City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The West Platte Bluejays walked away with a 29-20 win over the Mound City Panthers.

West Platte is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game. As for Mound City, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Platte will take on South Holt at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mound City, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mound City Panthers duke it out with the DeKalb Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
