Things were looking good for Baxter Springs after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They were dealt a 41-3 loss at the hands of Girard. The Lions were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Meanwhile, Parsons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Christ Prep Academy at home and fell 45-8.
