Baseball Recap: Northwood Takes a Loss

Northwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to the Ottawa Hills Green Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 last Tuesday.

Northwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brett Reichow, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ottawa Hills, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood will venture away from home to take on Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ottawa Hills, they will take on Perrysburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
