Softball Preview: Norwood Mustangs vs. Bellingham Blackhawks
Norwood is 3-0 against Bellingham since May of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Norwood Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Bellingham Blackhawks at 6:00 p.m. Norwood will be strutting in after a win while Bellingham will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Norwood narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Dedham 7-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for Norwood.
Norwood let Pauline Cordani and Lizzy Helmar loose on the outfield. Cordani scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Helmar scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
