Firth came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Ririe Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Firth took Ririe into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 21-25, 24-26, 15-12.

Firth's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Ririe, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Firth is set to challenge their familiar foe North Fremont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ririe will square off against rival Salmon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
