You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Gateway's strategy against Laurel Highlands on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Gators blew the Mustangs out of the water with a 59-27 final score. The win continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Laurel Highlands' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayden Smith, who posted 11 points.

Gateway now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Laurel Highlands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
