Sierra and Avenal squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Sierra had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Avenal Buccaneers by a score of 4-3.

Lexi Valle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
