Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Archbishop Molloy). They managed a 54-49 win over the West Catholic Burrs on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Stanners' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 358th in New York, while the Burrs are ranked 170th in Pennsylvania).

The win made it two in a row for Archbishop Molloy and bumps their season record up to 2-7-1. As for West Catholic, they moved to 6-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Archbishop Molloy will welcome Monsignor Scanlan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Catholic, they will challenge Central at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
