After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wrangell, Petersburg was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Craig Panthers by a score of 41-34. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Petersburg's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 5-14. As for Craig, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.
