Proctor was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Grand Rapids on Monday. The Rails never let the Thunderhawks get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rails, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Proctor's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Grand Rapids, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Proctor will look to defend their home field on Monday against Hermantown at 4:30 p.m. Grand Rapids will be paying especially close attention to the Rails' matchup: after the Rails face off against the Hawks, they'll take on Grand Rapids again at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
