After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Justin Garza, Dos Palos was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Hilmar Yellowjackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted since April 15, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Samantha VonAllman, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Liliana DelaRosa, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Dos Palos' win bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Hilmar, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Dos Palos will square off against Avenal at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hilmar, they will take on Escalon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Escalon will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
